a photo of an unborn elephant in the womb - cover for a list of unborn animals still in the womb

Producer Peter Chinn used a combination of dimensional ultrasound scans, tiny cameras and computer graphics to create these truly mesmerizing images. But lets face it… They are still a bit creepy.

He did this project for a National Geographic documentary that aired several years ago. Now mind that they are not actual photographs, this is digital images in what the unborn baby relatively accurately looks like.

What are cats so popular on the internet - header image

It's July 2017, and when you type the words 'cat video' into YouTube, there are 90,000,000 hits. 90,000,000. That's more than one cat video every person living in Germany. It seems like an impressive number of videos – until, just as a comparison, you type in 'dog video' and discover that there are 141,000,000 dog videos. Suddenly the 90,000,000 cat videos don't seem quite as remarkable. And yet, cute as dog videos are, it's images and videos of cats that go viral. It's cats that cause the most hype, cats that fill our Facebook feeds – but why? Why do we enjoy cat videos and memes so much?

This very smart chimp knows what he wants, and isn't afraid to ask for it. Zoo visitors got to see just how smart chimpanzee's are when one in particular saw a bag filled with drinks and bananas. You would think they want to banana, but the funny Chimp asked for the drink instead!

An Amazing video that was uploaded by Mark Freeley, shows his dog saving a baby deer from drowning. He Said that as he was walking his two dogs in the morning, Storm and Sara, he noticed a fawn in the water struggling to get to shore. The next thing he knew "Storm just plunged into the water and started swimming out to the fawn, grabbed it by the neck and started swimming back to shore."

It can be shown in the video, that once Storm hit the shore, he put the deer down and laid down next to it. The very prod owner was even surprised by the good deed his dog had done.

Unfortunately, when experts arrived and with the commotion of the dogs and so many people, the poor deer got spooked again and ran back into the water. This time further out. After struggling for around 8 minutes, the men were able to rescue her once again. The fawn didn't have any serious injuries but did suffer from ticks and a small eye injury. The young animal is currently being cared for at an area wildlife agency until it is in better shape.

Freeley posted the video of Storm's heroic rescue on Facebook Sunday morning and had already had more than 13k likes and just over 61k shares.
