For locals , mainly & request

Why is it that given I regularly buy tickets for the EDinburgh International Festival, Fringe Festival and Film Festival, every year the only brochure that actually comes through my door is the Jazz Festival? (It just arrived.)

Anyway I picked up the Fringe fest brochure yesterday and on v quick perusal (only of the comedy so far) it does seem to have pulled the stops out for My last Fringe - all my faves are there, Rich hall, Adam Hills, Dylan Moran, Bill Bailey, Paul Merton - wow. PLus I've decide that after years of avoiding it I really should go to Puppetry of the Penis before I leave town. Anyone wanna come? (so to speak :-)

Also I have Me New Cooker finally arriving Friday. I Hope. Which I means I need someone to plug it into the mains? (It's dual fuel so not sure how complicated this is.) Any suggestions for who could do this from the locals? i'm in Bruntsfield/Marchmont/South Side. And would they take the old cooker away?
