Future's so bright I've got to wear 3D shades

Last night I saw Shrek 3, which was sweet, but no more than ok (and Puss In Boots, my favourite character, was horribly under used) but the main event of note was before it, "the world's first 3D ad" complete with buckets of the usual red/green spex to wear - and lo, it really WAS 3D!! I was impressed - though all I can remember was that it was for Red Bull - everything else was obliterated in going "ooh! look, that bit really works!!"

Have they got this on at all the cinemas?? Also a fab Simpsons promotional of all of them life size on a bench - which various people were having their pictures taken next to. V neat marketing that. Looking fwd to the movie.

I really do wonder about brand-awareness-advertising. I know they say they need to do it, so do it well already, but by god, it seems a waste of fucking time and money.

Also my new Nokia N95 has just been delivered! wahey!

Yesterday also managed to take car to garage for service (much needed in various ways); buy an inflatable air mattress; buy a printer cartridge; buy a new t shirt just for the hell of it; and provisionally arrange ILAWS launch for October 10. Go me. Some new disasters however which I'll tell you about on a need to know basis :(

The Beeb says it's going to be 25 degrees and sunny on Sunday. the weather.co.uk says it'll be 16 and cloudy. Which are you meant to believe???
