How banal..

.. but it's really nice to have some must-watch TV, what with Spooks, Heroes and Californication shaping up nicely.

What else are we expecting to arrive? When does UK get Pushing Daisies? (if ever?) I loved Dead Like Me!

Looking forward to getting another Wii controller, and Lost season 3 at the weekend hopefully:) Also fireworks, badminton, **shopping** and FINALLY i hope taking pix of the autumn colours on the Common. (Today I stared out the window of the staff club at the campus foliage and said to Caroline: "You know I think that's the most beautiful tree I've ever seen." And i wasn't even in a good mood!)

And today, in celebration of the winter hibernation season (though it's ridiculously warm here), I made a(nother) rather fabulous Thai curry, with ginger and pak choy this time, and bought the cutest ever mini Xmas-sy mince pies from Waitrose to follow.

Finnish Lodger was dubious. "If they have mince in them, how come you don't have to keep them in the fridge?" And I thought  it was only Islamic Masters students who asked questions like that!!

I should have told her they were made with freeze-dried reindeer...

Meanwhile I am not even sure who Adam was shagging at the end of Spooks. Was it the Iranian ambassador's wife again - but doesn't she hate him?? God, prosopognosia sucks sometimes..

(And come to that when do we find out what happened at end last season??! and what happened to the black nanny?? God I suck at plot..)

"Spammers have created a Windows game which shows a woman in a state of undress when people correctly type in text shown in an accompanying image.

The scrambled text images come from sites which use them to stop computers automatically signing up for accounts that can be put to illegal use.

By getting people to type in the text the spammers can take over the accounts and use them to send junk mail."
