Does the British Olympic medal haul prove that Olympic success really is just directly correlated to how much money you put into the team, and nothing to do with the inherent physical excellence of the athletes (etc)? Assuming the full spread of a genetic population which contains enough potentially tall, short, muscley, fit, stretchy etc people.

Could you take say the entire Seychelles population and turn them into Olympic leaders if you sank enough money in?

I find that pretty depressing :(

In other news, STILL ILL. FUCK THIS.  Was really shattered by last night..

On the other hand cold has NOT , comme d'habitude, turned into a chest infection. Which proves that if you're willing to lie around for five days doing pretty much nothing it is possible to avoid this. Boredom or chest infection? Hmmm....
