I've just put up 18 pix from New Forest, and Winchester at the weekend, on Flickr, and I think they're available at http://www.flickr.com/photos/20787627@N00/
- or you can search for green_amber's account.
(Is there a better way to do this? I see you guys with your thumbnails and nice layouts etc. Am I missing a good trick or two??

Using Flickr, which I am not v used to, because I wanted these pix to be BIG SIZE - well some of them . I'm quite pleased with a few - the autumn colours were absolutely glorious. (Although peculiar - Charles etc swore it wasn't autumn leaves in edinburgh yet. And indeed there was more un-turned green in the New Forest than there seems to be here in Southampton. Does pollution contribute??) I assume you are quite restricted in size of what you can upload to Facebook and LJ Pix?

On the other hand I seem to have missed the conker season. Most odd. And poot :(

I am feeling really artistic since the weekend. have spent tonight mainly finishing my watercolour of summer meadows - tomorrow I get shown how to get the masking fluid off I hope and then paint red apples on.

But now it's taken far too long to upload and download photos (really I do need tips on this) and is time for bed!!

EDIT yes I've just noticed the thumb print! well i didn't take that one..

Yes, well, the thumb image just goes to show you've got a digital camera, doesn't it?

Uploading pics: get Flickr Uploader from here. Then you can just drag and drop multiple pics or folders.

blog this: if you want to use 'blog this' to post a single photo to LJ and you want to post a larger size, then you need to change your default settings. You>your account>extending flickr>blogs>edit>layout

posting multiple pics: click on picture you want to post>all sizes>select size of choice>copy code from box under pic>paste into journal entry. Rinse and repeat. Insert code on centring/margins as required. Insert line breaks/text between pics.

It was definitely conker season 2 weeks ago in Sussex. They were all falling off the trees and looking so nice and shiny that I had to pick them up, even though I know they'll go all dry and horrible soon.
