Bees are useful, damnit, and not just for people. OK, all creatures large and small except for people are useful, but pollination is pretty basic.
Flies(house) are beautiful and fascinating, even if their sex lives aren't as bizarre as bedbugs', but they drive me to distraction in the house (particularly when I'm on the Wii Fit). I feel no compunction in killing them with rolled up magazine, flypaper, cup filled with diluted washing up liquid or elastic band. There's plenty more where they came from. Flies(mosquito) can just die, itikka and muthafukka alike.
Spiders are also beautiful and fascinating (did you know that they extend their legs using hydraulic pressure, not muscles?). They also catch and consume flies. QED.
Wasps, I've just changed my vote on: leaving nests aside, they don't really bother me, and I do feel guilty about killing them; they generally find their own way out of the house anyhow. Having said that, I did once quite enjoy spending a hot afternoon outside a pub with friends. trapping wasps one by one inside a beer glass.
