Curry vs. obesity and diabetes (in mice, anyway)

Findings presented to ENDO 2008, the Endocrine Society's annual meeting in San Francisco this week, show that a spice found in curries has remarkable properties when administered to obese and diabetic mice: (It's turmeric. I guess you can eat unlimited amouns of turmeric cos it doesn't taste of ANYTHING!!)

Well, wouldn't you know it. Turmeric is the one spice I have a violent physical reaction to (nausea). Damn.
