I have to say that as soon as that line came out I assumed that meant Rose would die in Ep. 13 this series. There's been a number of things pointing at a major event then, including someone dying - although I was half suspecting it might be Jackie rather than Rose until now. But this line was too specific to be ignored.
The real outrage is the BBC poll on your favourite Dr Who assistant, with the options limited to Rose Tyler, Leela, Sarah Jane Smith, Tegan, Ace and K-9. WTF?!
My kids were very sad about Adric's death, and Earthshock is the only one they've seen him in. I can't decide whether to tell them that Rose might die, or not.
