Birthday

Thanks to all for the birthday wishes - just come in and very touched!! (also nmg and ias who texted!)

Birthday so far has already been Very Interesting with stuff I genuinely can't talk about but looks cautiously (very cautiously) promising..

Birthday has also gone very well so far as distributed feast!! Saturday was Bk Club birthday do at Petit Paris - great food, tarte tatin with a candle in it!, lovely pressies and back to mine till 4am with shouting, drinking, stropping and Charades!!! all good fun:)

Sunday was dinner chez Rowena who should have been my PhD student who is very devotedly staying in touch, with great home made Indian food..

Monday was chez famille in Glasgie for birthday and hanukkah pressies -lots of Dior stuff, several cat calendars (I am clearly Prof Bridget JOnes) and YAAAYYYYY a Sat Nav!!!!!! I now, with new laptop, officially have everything I ever need! Also more sweet stuff than you've ever seen on one table - I am still in hypoglycaemic shock..

And tonight is dinner chez Jacques with Andy and V and I hope more pressies:)

In fact I think my dance card` is now oficially full til jan 4, bar 30 December - any offers for then?:)

It's nice to be home.
