Saddo that I am, I've just been looking at votesaxon.org.uk.. and either there are some very big hints being left there or some moderately clever red herrings..

Try this "In the light of all this election fever that seems to be spreading like wildfire, this country needs a doctor."

and

" Mr. Saxon's hand [their bold]will guide the future of not only Great Britain but of the entire world as well."

and in "comments"

"Yes, the Country may need the guiding hand of a Doctor, so I must ask YOU Mr. Saxon- Where DO your credentials come from? Which Academy, what University, which planet?"

Hmm.. the Master as a clone of the Doctor drawn from the hand that Jack had? Not a brother but a clone? Or..

...now that it looks like RTD's sprinkled revelations are deliberate.. anyone remember back in Fear Me, the Doctor's throwaway that he had had a child?

Could it be...?

And another "comment" -

"YANA???
Where has Boe got his info from?"

which ties in with the much noted clue that Dr Yana was supposedly found as a child in the "Silver Devastation", the same planet as the home of the Face of Boe.Did Boe name the Yana child as a clue to the Doctor that You Are Not Alone? In which case why not tell him direct and why wait till his dying breath? Hmmm....

I guess it depends how much RTD is planning to screw with current canon.

I don't remember the child comment. But he mentioned his wedding in Blink.

Now if The Master was his son, would Susan be The Master's daughter? :-)

But were they ever meant to be brothers? I thought they were just (!) schoolboy rivals.

When did we hear what the Face of Boe's home planet was? I must've missed that detail.

From the Wikipedia article:
Fans have occasionally seized upon the two Time Lords' rivalry to speculate that the Master and the Doctor are, in fact, brothers. Such speculation was fueled by the Master's last line in Planet of Fire, which was originally scripted by Peter Grimwade (with permission from script editor Eric Saward) to allude to this as "Doctor, could you do this to your own..."

One thing we can say with some certainty about next Saturday's episode, based on the trailer for it which followed last Saturday's, is that the Doctor and his companions will -- as in "Blink", as in "Love and Monsters" -- appear in very little of it. My bet is that the episode will concentrate entirely on Mr Saxon's campaign to become PM, and what follows that, and that only in the final minutes will the Tardis be despatched to rescue the Doctor as the futurekind break through the door to the silo's control room.

There tends to be one episode per season that's Doctor-Lite. We've already had Blink, so I'm not sure they'll give us a second one...

....although there was much more of the Doctor in "Blink" than in "Love and Monsters" -- as I remember the latter, he was there only at the beginning and end, but was present all through the former. So there is scope yet!
