I*n Starbucks using NOT free wi fi. Bloody expensive wi fi actually. Did everyone else know you now have to buy it there from T Mobile at £5 an hour? I thought the whole POINT of Stabucks was free wi fi!!

Phone now seems completely kaput. Went eagerly furst thing (which was admittedly c 1pm - ooh my head) to 02 to sign on for promised unlimited roaming data.Turns out a) international roaming data is NOT free as promised - though it is capped - and B) 02 alone of UK suppliers aren't doing the N96! Aggg! Claim too many returns which is slightly worrying. They have tried to sell me on the new Sony Ericksson (C905?), out Tuesday - has wi fi,3G , GPS (tho no maps) MP3 player and 8 Gb memory card. And 8 MP camera - which is quite appealing. But arg arg. Want phone NOW that WORKS. Any opinions on new SE phone??

Also home cable modem did indeed not work with ASDSL router - gave up and ordered a proper one from Virgin. Which will take 3-5 days. And work is locked up at weeknds. So I am still uncommunicable with except via home tel no below, for weekend. perhaps this will be good for me, she says doubtfully.

Yesterday's cremation - well, happened. I missed blue_condition's actual service - also arg - due to a combo of absolute stupidity and late train. Oh well. It was great to see so many people turn out, and share a drink, if not a dram, with them, and meet Emma and her family. I will now go and do a bit of Friending :-)
