Also my research assistant unexpectedly gave me a box of Roses this morning because I'd helped her with a School board about failing some of her exams when out the country last year. That's the nicest thing that's happened in ages! I love Roses - strawberry cremes..

(Are Roses the ones with those manky toffee pennies in them, or is that Quality Street? Similarly, is it Roses or QS that have the green triangular praline and the big purple one with the toffee and hazelnut in it?)

Whichever it is, I'm shamefully addicted to the green and purple ones, especially the BIG versions of them they do.

Although I have been very well-educated about posh chocolate, up to but not including the fearful Plus Noir Que Noir which is about 99.5% cocoa and scared the hell out of us, we had some 97% in France and it was actually too bitter and fragile. I think anything over 85% is excessive!
