It's Andrew Collins, former sidekick of Stuart Maconie, occasional scriptwriter for various soap operas, and author of a couple of fun books of reminiscences of his dull childhood. These days he's mostly rent-a-talking-head on "I Love 2004 Instant Nostalgia Plebfiller".

He's funny, but he's no Charlie Brooker. ;/

Until I went to see Mark Stewart & the Maffia, Stereolab (and Tortoise) were the loudest band I'd ever seen/heard. Both gigs in Bristol, oddly.

As above - it's Andrew Collins. He is film critic for the Radio Times, wrote a sitcom called Grass (starring Simon Day IIRC), and his blog is v funny. http://www.wherediditallgoright.com/BLOG/2008/05/bog-average.html is I think even funnier on The Apprentice as it features the departure of Raef
